POSITION: CAD Drafter - Entry Level
Neustel Law Offices, Ltd. (Fargo), a nationally recognized patent law firm, is seeking a full-time patent draftsperson starting immediately. Tasks include preparation of professional patent drawings relating to new inventions, communicating with inventors and corporate clients regarding inventions, and other related tasks. Applicants must be artistic and able to draw concepts of new products in a CAD format (AutoCAD or SolidWorks). Excellent communication skills are also required. Salary and benefits package based on prior experience.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares patent drawings from rough sketches and design information (verbal instructions and notes) using CAD software programs such as AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Maintains schedules for patent application drawings and offers progress reports.
- Works closely with patent attorneys, patent agents, corporations and inventors to obtain project information and ensure drawings are accurate and complete.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Education: No requirement.
- Demonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Solid SolidWorks.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook).
- Self-motivation with strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects with clear expectations and timelines, and prioritize work.
- Ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels in the law firm in a team environment.

Salary: $26,000 - $36,000 (DOE) Plus Full Benefits (After 3 Months Employment)
